Spa
Prenatal Massages are customised to client needs, and help cope with a number of changes in the body. Carrying a baby inside you changes your centre of gravity and put a lot of pressure on the back and thighs. Regular prenatal massages can relieve this pain and help with over-all relaxation.
Clients have the option of getting a massage on our special prenatal massage bed, which supports the belly, and allows them to comfortably lie flat on their stomach.
PRENATAL MASSAGES HELP WITH:
Relieving backaches, headaches, shoulder and neck aches that may be caused by muscle tension and shifts in posture to accommodate increasing weight
Decreasing pain in the pelvic/hip area
Increasing circulation
Reducing fatigue
Improving skin elasticity that can help reduce stretch marks
Reducing swelling in such places as hands and lower legs
Can alleviate the stress on weight-bearing joints, like the knees, which are impacted by the extra weight of a growing baby
Promoting relaxation and deep breathing
Help stabilize hormone levels by lessening anxiety
POST NATAL MASSAGES
Postnatal massages help the body to relax and recover after the delivery. They help to reduce muscle tension, alleviate soreness, and improve circulation. Postnatal massages help with the release of endorphins, which are the feel good hormone, and oxytocin which helps with breastfeeding.

WEIGHT LOSS MASSAGE
Weight loss massages are part of our weight loss programme that also include dietary and fitness counseling. The purpose of these massages is to break down the fat that has formed over various muscles, through vigorous therapy and manipulation, and simultaneously strengthen and tone up the underlying flaccid muscle. These massages also help with improving flexibity and range of motion, which prepares the muscle for injury free exercise. Massages positively impact the circulatory system, improving blood flow and increasing the amount of oxygen and nutrients reaching the muscles. It is recommended that weight loss massages must be carried in tandem with attention to diet and exercise for best results.
Throughout the course of a massage, clients are discretely draped under a sheet, with the therapist only uncovering the body part being worked on
